This statement sets down DH2 Solutions Ltd commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities and the steps we have put in place with the aim of ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our own business and supply chains. We all have a duty to be alert to risks, however small. Staff are expected to report their concerns and management to act upon them.
DH2 Solutions Ltd is an SME presently supporting 9 employees. DH2 Solutions Ltd provides electronic assistive technology and access control solutions to individuals with physical disabilities.
DH2 Solutions Ltd has 3 Directors who are directly involved in the running of the business. The company has a small number of suppliers.
The Directors have a joint responsibility for all policies and due diligence, however on a daily basis this is monitored by the Operations Director.
The Company is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or our supply chains. This Statement affirms its intention to act ethically in our business relationships.
The Company undertakes due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers, and regularly reviews its existing suppliers. The Company’s due diligence process includes building long-standing relationships with suppliers and making clear our expectations of business partners.
As part of this initiative we have recently committed to a supplier/sub-contractor code of conduct which we are presently distributing and a modern slavery questionnaire for completion by our suppliers/subcontractors. These will be issued to all new suppliers and a review will be undertaken of all existing suppliers.
Training will also be undertaken by all present and future staff in relation to modern slavery.
This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement will be regularly reviewed and updated as necessary. The Directors endorse this policy statement and are fully committed to its implementation.
